Job Description
Amara Financial is a boutique, high touch, high service financial advisory firm that continually looks to do more for our clients, who feel like family. We are grateful for the fiduciary role we serve for our clients and their families.
This role maintains and enhances the infrastructure of our client relationship support through managing and gathering client data; helping to update financial plans and other client deliverables; working with advisors to resolve client issues; and other practice management tasks as needed.
Ideal candidate is team-oriented while also able to work autonomously, great communicator, tech adaptable, detail-oriented and has a passion for helping others.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with advisors to support all operational needs on advisory and planning activities
- Gathers, enters, and maintains client data and documentation in financial planning and CRM systems
- Review and maintain client information on CRM and other applicable portals
- Enters and tracks follow up tasks, provides progress updates so the current status is easily understood by teammates
- Schedules and assists in preparation of client meeting meetings
- Proactively communicates observations with advisors
- Assists to maintain and enhance client services processes and procedures
- Maintains, and develops, where appropriate, written systems of assigned duties
- Maintains and update client portfolios and firm’s models
- Assist advisors on various client requests and help resolve administrative client issues

- Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to quickly work and adapt with industry tools such as financial planning software, analytical tools, and custodian platform
- Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, e-mail, or zoom
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently.

Requirements
- Clean U-4 and U-5 history
- This position requires high standards of business and professional ethics, plus strong adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Preferences
- At least three years of financial industry experience, CFP designations, or more than mid-way through CFP track.
- Experience in operations within the financial services industry and have a foundational understanding of RIA operations.

We are committed to finding the right person for this role and are willing to compensate them well for their contribution to the firm and our clients.
