About the Position:
As a lead financial planner, you will partner directly with the founder, Mark Astrinos to serve approximately half of Libra Wealth’s client relationships. You’ll play an integral role in developing thoughtful planning strategies, fostering long-term client relationships and delivering an exceptional client experience. This is a great opportunity for an experienced planner who enjoys deep analytical work and wants to make a meaningful impact without the pressure of business development.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead planner for an assigned group of approximately 50 client relationships
- Develop sophisticated retirement, tax, estate, and cash flow planning strategies
- Provide information and education to clients about the purpose and details of financial plans, services, and strategies
- Promote established investment models and strategies that are suitable for our targeted clients
- Facilitate all money movement, strategy changes and paperwork for existing clients and prospects with the operations team as necessary
- Conduct financial planning research in conjunction with delivery of planning advice
- Design, implement and manage company projects with a focus on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and process improvement
- Participate in daily morning advisor meetings, training and continuing education
- Handle all communication with the client base including phone calls, emails and meetings
- Review investment products currently held in clients’ accounts, both advisory and brokerage, and reallocate to the appropriate model to help clients meet their financial objectives
- Adhere to all company and industry supervisory guidelines and policies
- Leverage technology to improve efficiency and enhance the client experience
Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience as a Lead Planner or Associate Planner
- CFP® designation required
- Experience serving high-net-worth clients
- Strong retirement, tax, and estate planning knowledge
- Experience working with Schwab, Fidelity or similar custodians
- Strong knowledge of Google Apps (Gmail, Docs, Spreadsheets, Presentations)
- Experience with CRMs and task management tools such as Asana
- Excellent communication skills with sophisticated clients
- High emotional intelligence and exceptional listening skills
- Comfortable learning and leveraging planning technology and workflow tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exercises sound judgment, takes ownership, and consistently follows through
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development

- Must be willing to work Pacific or Mountain Time business hours
