MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5+ years of experience working in wealth management/financial planning
  • CFP or educational component completed and pursuing the final exam
  • Good Communication Skills both written and in all modes of verbal communication
  • Proficient and comfortable with Microsoft excel, word, and financial planning software
  • Digital tools and technology – ability to adapt to and learn new technologies
  • Self-starter – ability and resourcefulness to drive projects and tasks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Financial and Tax Planning Experience for businesses and individuals is a strong plus
  • eMoney and Holistiplan or other comparable software experience
  • Financial plan creation and analysis experience
  • Previous experience working within a fee based RIA environment

As a Financial Planning Associate, you will play an integral role in supporting our team through financial and tax planning analysis, preparing client reports and comprehensive financial plans, assisting with client data gathering and organization, and contributing to the development of planning recommendations. You will also have the opportunity to participate in client meetings, gaining firsthand experience while helping deliver an exceptional planning experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

I. Client Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Collecting, reviewing, and reconciling all client data and documents requested for purposes of developing a financial plan
  • Reviewing all data request questionnaires for completion
  • Data input into eMoney or the equivalent financial planning software
  • Uploading all tax documents into tax return software
  • Adding all stress testing to the financial planning software
  • Creating all alternative scenarios based on recommendations, plan deficiencies, etc. in the financial planning software
  • Running income tax summary reports and income tax projections in tax planning software
  • Analyzing client cash flow, cash flow projections, and identifying plan deficiencies including those identified through cash flow projection stress testing
  • Assisting with the generation of all financial planning recommendations
  • Direct communication with clients regarding outstanding data, documents, and information needed
  • Financial planning analysis report generation
  • Supporting lead planner in client meetings where possible to help present recommendations and answer any questions

  • Proficient with financial planning software

  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects through to completion

COMPENSATION:

  • 1099 contract work with flexible hours (open to W-2 salary discussion)
  • Entirely remote
  • Starting hourly rate $45-$50/hour, open to negotiation depending on hours, skill set, and experience
