Overview

We are looking to hire a CFP® professional with 2–5 years of financial planning industry experience. This role is meant to be the first step towards becoming a Lead Advisor within 3 years, as you gradually grow more comfortable & confident onboarding & taking care of Drucker Wealth Clients.

This is a high-impact associate role: you’ll learn how to build out financial plans, handle meeting prep/agendas/follow up, deliver financial advice, and you’ll gain the mentorship and exposure needed to lead relationships at Drucker Wealth in short order.

While the ramp up time towards becoming a Lead Advisor is (in part) based on your experience/knowledge, this is not a “forever in the support chair” role: We WANT this person to be ready to take on client relationships as soon as possible, that’s a win all around!

If you thrive in a collaborative, process-driven environment and aspire to provide meaningful financial advice & a proactive/excellent client experience to a growing number of clients, we want to meet you.

This is a full-time and entirely remote W-2 position.

What You’ll Do

  • Participate in meetings through every phase of the client journeys (Discovery Meetings, Input Meetings, Delivery Meetings, Strategy Meetings, and Review Meetings) and take detailed notes; involvement and responsibility in meetings will gradually increase.

  • Communicate with clients to clarify details, follow up on requests, and provide a high-touch experience
  • Coordinate with in-house tax & estate specialists, and third-party professionals as needed
  • Document activity and maintain accurate records in CRM and planning systems
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, updating workflows and client processes as needed. We are organized and process driven. Why? Well… we have bad memories, which means everything (and I mean everything) gets documented.
  • Communicate directly with our Operations team re: account openings, cash transfers, investment strategy, etc., and understand the flow of business
  • Participate in dedicated training sessions (technical financial planning, deliverables, client communication, etc.) while always looking to improve and add to our existing processes

Why You’ll Be A Great Fit

  • You’re comfortable taking ownership of your work and seeing tasks through without reminders
  • You communicate clearly, professionally, and with empathy
  • You get energy from being part of a tight-knit, high-performing team
  • You love a good process, and know when to improve one

Nice to Have Qualifications & Attributes

  • Experience working directly with young families and a particular area of focus when it comes to financial planning (education planning, tax strategy, estate planning, equity compensation etc.)
  • Created (from scratch) 50+ complete financial plans in leading software…preferably Right Capital

Career Growth at Drucker Wealth

  • We have no CAP on future advisors, team members, new clients, or opportunities. We have big plans for our team’s future, and every single team member is instrumental in building and designing that future.
  • We are poised for our next stage of growth and have committed to engaging in an associate advisor training program that supports this growth. We are building a true Diamond Team Structure, and we’d rather train & develop new advisors than hire lead advisors!
  • We are a family owned, boutique firm – as such there is no artificial limit on future income, role, title, opportunity etc.
  • You’ll work closely with our Lead Advisors and have access to weekly mentorship, internal training, and ongoing learning opportunities.
  • Our goal is for every Associate Advisor to grow into a client-facing Lead after 1-3 years. This means being fully trained in the Drucker Wealth Financial Life Plan® process, client philosophy, and planning systems so you can hit the ground running and are able to provide incredible service to clients of your own!
  • The firm is responsible for business development, prospecting, and sending warm prospects to our advisor team on a regular basis. Your ability to grow your client relationships, increase assets under management, and grow your managed revenue will simply be a by-product of delivering an excellent client experience to the families you onboard & serve.

Compensation & Perks

  • $75k- $95k Base + Bonus. Clear and tangible metrics to grow compensation over time as you progress through Advisor Career Track & as the Firm Grows
  • After the 6-month trial period, Drucker Wealth has a 401k program with a 4% match, partially subsidized health insurance, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, and parental leave.
  • We have semi-annual retreats where we fly the team into NYC for 3-4 days of meals, happy hours, future planning, and activities.
  • You can make your own schedule as long as work is completed on time, and you are attending agreed upon client & team meetings.
  • We will pay for advanced training in areas that we mutually agree will benefit your career and our clients in areas such as communication training, advanced industry specific credentials, technical financial planning, conferences, etc.
  • Valuable Mentorship and education-rich environment

About Drucker Wealth

About Drucker Wealth

Hi! My name is Gideon Drucker CFP® AIF® ECA, President & CEO at Drucker Wealth.

Our Wealth Builder Division’s focus is in working with high income individuals and families (aged 35-55) that are motivated to build a financial roadmap for their future & want to do so with a trusted partner that will grow with them as their lives evolve.

We created this division approximately 7 years ago after I realized how much I love working with motivated professionals in the decades BEFORE retirement age. We want to be the team that our clients look to for help/guidance as they move through life’s milestones (marriage, kids, home purchase, education, career changes etc.) We will help get them there!

But more on that to come. Here’s a bit of background about our team:

We are an Independent RIA working virtually (with clients and team members around the country), with roots (and clients!) going back 3 generations!  We are a family business and operate as such. Our clients are people we genuinely love working with (for the most part, c’mon…there’s always one or two!) and that truly appreciate & value our support. We operate with the mindset of “brutal honesty and radical transparency,” and strongly believe in educating our clients on how behavior will impact financial preparedness.

The two communities we serve are pre-retirees and Mid-Career HENRY’s (High Earners Not Rich Yet), each with separate areas of focus & different Drucker Wealth Lead Advisors (Lance and Kitty for the former…Gideon, Jordan, and Karina for the latter)

I like to think that we have the best of both worlds when it comes to the financial planning/wealth management industry.

On one hand, we are a proven firm with a 70-year track record, longtime multi-generational clients that love us, and a strong 14-person team core infrastructure. In other words, we are not a pop-up shop, a startup, or an early-stage firm trying to build to a baseline level of competency. We are already there.

At the same time, we are a rapidly evolving financial planning firm that is adaptable/nimble and in the midst of exponential growth inside of our Wealth Builder Division...which is why we are looking for another financial advisor to start working with all of the clients walking through our (metaphorical) door.

We are constantly re-inventing ourselves and re-imagining the firm we want to be. Two quick examples.

Our vision/goal is to become a one-stop shop for ANYTHING in our clients' world with a dollar sign attached to it. As such, we have been incorporating tax planning & estate planning part of our core financial planning offerings over the last few years. We recently launched Drucker Tax LLC as our tax prep/filing division for wealth management clients (and only for wealth management clients) looking for tax filing help. Last year, we onboarded an estate planning specialist to help coordinate our clients' estate planning affairs while utilizing our chosen partner, Encore Estate.

Simply put, we believe the future of wealth management is the integration of financial planning, tax prep/planning, estate coordination, and investment management. The firms who do this will grow/scale and those that don't....

This One-Stop-Shop planning model has revolutionized our business and led to deeper, more complete client relationships.  We have no minimum investment asset requirement (just a minimum annual fee) which means we are able to work with clients a bit earlier in their journey than their assets would otherwise dictate. Along with our planning-first mentality, we believe that we are building the firm of the future:

We heavily utilize modern technology to make our work efficient, both internally and externally, as we collaborate with clients. We are early adopters across the board.

A turnkey business development program that brings us warm prospects that fit our niche on a weekly basis…we communicate to prospects/clients in a more authentic (I would call it “human”) way than the wealth management world is known for.

We have separated business development duties (the firm) from client relationship & advice duties (the advisor). We think this leads to more growth, happier clients (which leads to more referrals, Google Reviews etc.), and everyone doing what they're BEST at.

A focus on life planning- Our planning is not just about “when can you retire??” but focused on family planning, education, home ownership, career changes, work-life optional life planning, travel & sabbatical planning etc.

Our clientele is mostly high income earning dual income households, with kids under college age, aggressive lifestyle/retirement goals, and a net worth that will ultimately be (but is not yet) $5mm+. We are building our firm to grow/evolve as they do.

Because it’s relevant to “why” we’re looking for a new financial advisor, you should know that I’ve been named an Investopedia Top 100 Financial Advisor, a Forbes Top Next-Gen Advisor, and a Business Insider Top 23 Financial Planner for Millennials, and a Financial Advisor Magazine Young Advisor to Watch. I’ve been fortunate to learn from some of the best in the industry (most importantly my dad, Lance, our firm Chairman), and our advisor team is excited to closely train and mentor the new talent that comes to Drucker Wealth.

We operate using the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) to help us create a transparent, organized, and structured work environment. Our goal is to continue to grow as a boutique firm that provides unparalleled service to clients, while also supporting our team to live their own ideal lifestyle.

Our company's core values are:
• Optimism      • Passion        • Grit     • Being Proactive
