We are currently hiring an experienced Financial Planner to onboard new clients coming to the firm. You will bring experience with tax, legal, investments, insurance (life, DI, LTC, P&C), cash flow, and private investments/real estate for business owners and entrepreneurs. You must have experience working with early stage or serial entrepreneurs to be a fit for this role. It’s a highly unique client set with specific and complex conversations and approaches. We cannot make exceptions on this for this hire. Your primary responsibilities will be to build out and implement the plan, reviewing and presenting financial and tax recommendations to clients, and managing client expectations and deliverables. General Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clients to analyze, research, recommend, and implement solutions in their individual financial situations; in partnership with a Senior Advisor
  • Manage the strategic development of financial plans; continuously monitor clients’ financial situations with detail and accuracy, with the ability to look at the greater strategic financial picture
  • Collaborate with clients’ other professionals i.e., attorney’s and CPA’s and any other external sources
  • Demonstrate excellent people skills by being confident in the delivery of advice to clients via conference call or video meetings – outstanding verbal and non-verbal communication is a necessity
  • Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality at all times
  • Prepare, coordinate, and follow through on any needed communication with new or existing clients
  • Partner with our Operations team to ensure client requests are being handled
  • Contribute to building the firm’s infrastructure, including workflows, instructional materials, etc.
  • Track Client Referrals – input referrals into CRM as prospects and set follow up for appropriate party
  • Manage email drip campaign – quarterly content of value delivered to your client set, incorporating a mix of personal content and leveraging partners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, accounting, finance, economics
  • One or more advanced degree or additional certifications required (CFP, CFA, MBA, ChFC, CPA, JD)
  • 5+ years of Financial Planning and Wealth Management, preferably for exceptionally high-income clients
  • Experience working with early stage or serial entrepreneurs and business owners required
  • Ability to manage complex client projects, with a thoughtful and diligent process
  • Be enthusiastic about financial planning; strive to always be better and learn more
  • Excellent knowledge of regulations, financial planning and investment management
  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with eMoney, Junxure, Advyzon, Holistaplan or similar softwares
  • Experience working with Schwab as custodian preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify, meet and follow through with client needs and requirements
  • Strong ability to interact effectively with the team
  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems
  • Be able to meet deadlines and deal with the stress of ambitious entrepreneurial clients

Compensation Details:

The Financial Planner is a full-time, W-2 position. Salary + bonus ranges from $140,000 to $175,000, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a medical allowance, a retirement plan with company match, unlimited paid time off, and growth opportunities.
