Most of our clients are retired women, age 60+. Our financial planning process is comprehensive and interactive. We take particular joy in showing people how to live better, sooner. We are proud of our superior customer service and even happy to count some of our clients as friends. We began moving to a remote model in 2007 and have been fully remote since 2016. We never plan to change that.

About the Position:

Zurich Awes Financial Management is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, growth-minded Investment Client Services professional to join our team of passionate and growing professionals. The position will serve as the investment services liaison between clients and the lead advisor, Zurich Awes.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has experience executing a wide variety of investment and client onboarding services. The perfect person has a love of numbers and finance, but also truly enjoys working with people. This person will be able to establish rapport and deepen the clients’ relationships with the firm. The perfect person brings a thorough understanding of account types, transfer methods, and financial platforms to the work; along with creative, research-based problem-solving abilities. We are looking for someone who loves to empower people, has the compassion to adjust financial solutions for those in non-traditional living arrangements, and will stay true to our open-minded ideals while abiding by the highest ethical standards.

  • Help break the traditional investment services mold by working with a diverse group of clients.
  • Participate in numerous areas of investment support, client onboarding and client engagement.

  • Work a 4 day/32 hour work week.


  • Collect and compile data about outside holdings, generate comparative analysis for advisor, note significant gains and other pertinent information
  • Open accounts with custodian (TD Ameritrade, Etc), add to iRebal model, and ensure all paperwork has been completed, and processed, correctly
  • Complete account transfers including ACAT and non-ACAT; identify, document, and offer solutions to potential basis issues or tax impacts
  • Track the transfer process and update advisor and client
  • Answer client’s concept questions about investments, but will neither make investment decisions, nor recommend specific portfolio allocations
  • Complete contributions, distributions, redemptions, distributions, beneficiary distributions, and/or RMDs; automating where possible
  • Perform client onboarding
  • Orient client to eMoney, Morningstar, TD Ameritrade and www.zurichawes.com
  • Deliver exceptional client service
  • Coordinate and administer client group webinars


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of financial planning industry experience
  • Must have passed Series 66, or 63 and 65 license exams
  • CFP® designation or similar designation is preferred
  • Clear regulatory history and ability to pass a background check
  • Experience with a major broker/dealer platform with preference for VEO One, TD Ameritrade or Schwab
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attitude, and an extraordinary client service orientation
  • Excited to take on new challenges and adapt to change and ability to succeed in a self-directed manner
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills with ability to multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Connect with a 75/30 Mbps or better internet connection
  • Preference for experience with Morningstar Office, Excel, eMoney, Slack, Apple Systems
  • A genuine interest in engaging, serving and caring for other people
  • High emotional intelligence and a patient yet proactive personality; with bonus points for an excellent sense of humor
