Overview
Part-Time Strategic Paraplanner / Financial Planning Associate
Remote | Independent Contractor | Non-Client Facing | Flexible Schedule
Overview
3FG Wealth is seeking a part-time Strategic Paraplanner / Financial Planning Associate to support the analytical and strategic aspects of our financial planning work.
This is a remote, non-client-facing independent contractor role focused on planning analysis, issue identification, scenario development, and recommendation support. This is not an administrative or data-entry role. The ideal candidate enjoys the technical and strategic side of financial planning and is comfortable working behind the scenes to help develop thoughtful, client-centered advice.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of assigned client cases, identify planning opportunities, evaluate options, and help translate planning analysis into clear recommendations.
This role has the potential to grow over time for the right person, but we are beginning with a flexible part-time arrangement.
About the Firm
3FG Wealth is a boutique financial planning firm focused on helping clients navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence. Our work emphasizes strategy over products, long-term relationships, and personalized planning.
We specialize in working with women and members of the LGBTQ+ community, including individuals, couples, and families whose lives and planning needs may not fit neatly into traditional financial planning assumptions. Many of our clients are navigating life transitions, family complexity, estate planning decisions, career changes, retirement planning, caregiving responsibilities, or the desire to align their financial lives more closely with their values.
A key part of our approach is the integration of financial planning and estate planning. Through our affiliated estate planning practice, 3FG Law, we are able to coordinate financial and estate planning considerations while maintaining separate engagements for each service. This integrated perspective allows us to help clients think more holistically about their financial lives.
Our planning process is structured but evolving. We are continuing to refine how we run planning meetings, present recommendations, and support clients after the first year of planning. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys contributing not only to client analysis, but also to the development of better planning systems and workflows.
We use tools such as MoneyGuidePro, Holistiplan, Morningstar Advisor Workstation, and Fi360 to support a streamlined planning process.

About 3FG Wealth
Financial and Estate Planning Guidance for Women & Their Families
Finally, a financial strategy you don’t have to micromanage
Strength in advocacy • Flexibility in planning • Preservation for what matters most
Most people have a financial advisor in one corner and an estate planning attorney in another. Two separate plans, two separate languages, and you, stuck in the middle, trying to translate. It’s exhausting, and it leaves too much room for gaps, guesswork, and “I thought they handled that.”
You don’t have time to be the go-between and keep everything aligned. We do.
With 3 Financial Group, you get one advocate who brings your financial and legal worlds together into a single, seamless strategy. No silos. No conflicting advice. No repeating your story over and over.
When your advisor and your estate attorney are the same person, every decision becomes clearer, stronger, and more aligned with the life you’re building.
Your future deserves one plan—and one financial advocate who sees the whole picture.
